Behind the glass, a quiet game begins.
Set within a space that resembles a captivating shop window, this unique performance follows two characters as they meticulously arrange their surroundings. They establish a profound connection and narrative entirely through non-verbal language: a rich tapestry of glances, movements, and shared gestures that unfold into evocative stories.
The two actors interact while engaged in the simple yet symbolic task of dressing mannequins, leading to a series of distinct situations. This staging encourages the audience to become an active participant; viewers are invited to freely recognize, interpret, and assign personal meaning to the actions observed in the window.
This powerful, wordless show is designed to introduce children and young people to the broad, diverse concept of family. It masterfully raises critical questions without offering simple, definitive answers, instead promoting reflection and open-mindedness.
The production encourages the audience to investigate their own point of view and embrace other possible realities by asking: What defines a family? Must a family include children, or a mom and a dad? Does a family need to live together? This is an essential opportunity to explore and celebrate the fluid nature of human relationships.

Message from the Artists
"Famiglie returns to Japan! We are very honoured and happy to return to Okinawa and on this occasion to bring Famiglie, a show that has toured the world for the last seven years, from Central America to the Far East via Africa and many European countries. Returning to Japan is always a great thrill for our company. Each time, we have the opportunity to meet and share our work with artists and cultural operators of the highest calibre. Andrea and Lorenzo are really looking forward to meeting the young and old audience of the Ricca Ricca Festa!"
