A First Journey into Rhythm: Playing with Sounds Together with Baby.

“Amu Amu Nani Amu?” is a sound and rhythm-based play that babies and adults can enjoy together. Inspired by the sound of knitting—“amu amu”—the story takes you on a journey where you move your mind and body to the beat.
The story features four characters, each of whom guides the audience to their own “favorite place.”
They are enjoying knitting in a quiet house, where the sound of the yarn and its colors create a gentle rhythm. The rhythm expands into the forest, hot springs, and the sky above the sea, taking the audience on a journey through a world of diverse sensations.
In this play, we discover the “joy of sound” using everyday objects such as sticks, medicine bottles, shoes, glass bowls, and ladles.
Although babies cannot yet speak, they feel the rhythm with their ears and bodies, responding with facial expressions and movements.
“Listening” to sounds, “moving” to rhythm, and “connecting” through the senses—the budding of such communication is the theme of this performance.
Even with your eyes closed, you can enjoy it with your ears and heart.
“Amu Amu Nani Amu?” is a “journey of rhythm” that babies and adults experience together.
It is a work that leaves a lingering afterglow, making the sounds around you feel a little special even after you return home.

No admission for children aged 2 and above.
