We can be strong.

This is a lovely story collected and recorded by the Brothers Grimm in 1819 about growing old, being together and finding your palace in the world when nobody wants you. It’s also a story about working together even when you are really different.

It’s about a donkey, a cat, a dog and a rooster who go on an adventure to find their place in the world and find out that they are stronger together than they ever thought that they could be. The show is full of live music, fun and foolishness including a group of ageing animals and rather nasty bunch of robbers, a broken down house, a very dark night and a very confusing battle. Using simple staging, puppets, music, song and storytelling we will bring this tale to life in the intimate setting of an old farmyard.
