A mesmerizing South African dance show for children aged 1-4

Fingers and Toes, My Body Knows! is a dance production for an audience aged 1-4 years old. The performance tells a story of touch, rediscovering how intelligent our bodies are at perceiving the world around us. Using a physical theatre style, the work is absorbing and entertaining for all ages, but is particularly relevant for little ones who see their own experiences mirrored by the performance language.

From balancing on two legs and learning to walk, to the comfort of having a good friend nearby, the performance shows the young audience members all the amazing things that they are learning and experiencing, while also delighting them with some clever things they might learn to do when they’re big. Gentle, playful and mesmerizing, the production is sure to inspire and calm.

Created in South Africa by award-winning choreographer-director Nicola Elliott, and performed by acclaimed performers Siphumeze Khundayi and Thalia Laric, this ground-breaking production is one of the first of its kind in South Africa and comes highly recommended as a work of excellent artist value, expertise and love.
