The theatre is beginning to change. Theatres that have been distant places for the socially vulnerable are changing, and the power of theatre is changing society itself to become more inclusive. In this session, we will look at examples of inclusive theatre in the UK, where people with disabilities are able to enjoy relaxing performances and integrated companies where artists with disabilities are very active. Through these examples, we will think about ways to develop the search that has begun in Japan.
