It's the story of three friends — boys, girls, and everything in between — walking in an ellipse. They cross forests and fields, climb mountains, gaze out at the sea and its horizon.

It's the story of three friends — boys, girls, and everything in between — walking in an ellipse. They cross forests and fields, climb mountains, gaze out at the sea and its horizon.
The three friends walk around the world.
They pick up a pebble, share a campfire, for a time.
The journey lasts three days and two nights.
During that time, through breathing the same air, swatting the same mosquito, walking in the same rhythm, these three have slowly tamed one another, a little more each day.
When all three step out of the ellipse, the story will be over.
Nothing will have changed, yet nothing will ever be quite the same.
A simple story.
A walk, with all the daydreams that cling to it, somewhere between the real and the imagined.

Message from the Artists

"Dear audience, we are very happy to be invited to the Ricca Ricca Festival in Okinawa. We are looking forward to performing our relaxing show ‘Douce Révolution’ and meeting you, our audience, in person. We can't wait to set foot on your beautiful island and awaken all our senses to our surroundings. This is the first time our Belgian company has come to perform in Japan, and we are writing to you with stars in our eyes. We are so happy to be writing a piece of our history with you! We hope that our show will be a relaxing journey that transports you into a bubble of comfort and gentleness. Long live theatre and the powerful bridges it helps to build! Thank you to everyone who will be coming to see us, and thank you to Hisashi Shimoyama and his wonderful team for their warm welcome!"
