On the Way to School

Campi Qui Pugui
Spain
Japan Premiere
Age: 6+| Duration: 55 mins| Non-verbal

Let suffering be play, tears into smiles

Three sisters, one path, and one goal: to have a future in their hands. This is the extraordinary story of three siblings who face daily obstacles and adversities just to get to their school. Three girls who could live in any country, somewhere faraway or maybe near your homeland. They do not speak any specific language but, at the same time, they speak them all.

An intriguing, purely visual, wordless show inspired by the real story of so many girls and boys from all over the world. Self-sufficient, capable children who share their joyful desire to learn… and to change their world.

A message from the artists

"Hello to everyone in Okinawa! We are a theater company from a small town in Spain, Lleida. From this small city, we travel and perform all over Europe. And this year, thanks to Hisashi Shimoyama and his wonderful team, we will be performing in Japan. It has always been our dream to experience the wonderful culture of your home country, meet new friends, and enjoy delicious Japanese food. We can't wait to see you at the show. Thank you, ricca ricca festa!
