Les Misérables

ACO Okinawa
Japan
Age: 10+| Duration: 70 mins| In Japanese (no subtitles)

People's thoughts and wishes transcend time

Bringing to life the characters of Les Misérables for everyone living today. This bold production reimagines Victor Hugo's epic Les Misérables through object theatre, performed by just two actors. Directed by Italian director Davide Doro, it tells a powerful story of people who resist authority and society, holding on to life, love, and hope against all odds.

A message from the artists

"One of ACO Okinawa's creative goals is to create new children's and youth theatre productions. Les Misérables is a collaboration with internationally acclaimed Italian director Davide D'Oro. We want you to feel the feelings, love and life of people who never give up on life."
