Contents

The wars and conflicts of recent years continue to generate countless refugees, significantly impacting the lives of children everywhere. Amidst such turmoil, young people often endure insecure conditions, lacking access to the education and healthy life, both fundamental human rights. In this context, what potential lies within Theatre for Young Audiences? Okinawa, a land steeped in the memories of past war yet also the symbol of future peace, will host a Peacebuilding Symposium. Joining us will be a Palestinian artist, an Australian Theatre Practitioner, and a Japanese expert in Theatre for Youth. Together, we invite you to explore the role of Theatre for Young Audiences in promoting global peace. Let this event serve as an opportunity for collective reflection and action toward the peace of our world – a better future for our children.
