The World of Baby Theater: From Creation to Performance

  • N6 Okinawa Education Center, Irei Hall (4th floor)
  • Friday 28th July
  • 10:00-12:00
  • No entry fee

Theater for babies is a miraculous art form that can only be experienced during the brief period of between zero and two years old. This newest trend in performing arts is quickly sweeping across the globe. Japan is no exception, and “baby theater” productions have gained momentum in recent years. We are inviting Birute Baneviciute, the director of ‘Colorful Puzzle’ that will be performed at this year’s ricca ricca*festa, to give us the opportunity to hear about her creative process and past performance experiences. We will also have two Japanese artists as guest speakers to talk about their activities here in Japan.
